User guide: Educational Performance Indicator Commitments (EPICs)

This user guide describes the steps required to make an EPI Commitment data submission. It applies to EPICs for all relevant TEC Funds.

View your commitments (EPICs)

From the Data Submissions tab:

  1. Click Commitments from the left-hand panel. The grid lists your organisation’s EPICs (and MoPs). For more information see Data submissions - Glossary: Commitments.

  2. Use the filters to show the grid rows you wish to view.

  3. Click Reset filters to clear all filters.

Start and validate submission

  1. Click on the required EPIC row in the grid. A summary of the EPIC will display.

  2. View the EPIC Plan year, Due date and Version history.

  3. Click Start & validate submission at the top right of the page. ‘Your report’ will display.

Add data

Your reference data will appear in the ‘Your report’ grid. For more information on data requirements see Data Requirements: Educational Performance Indicator Commitments (EPICs).

  1. Click Add on each row to enter your data. The ‘Add EPI Commitment’ webform will display.

  2. Follow the prompts to populate the webform.

✏ Note: A red field border indicates an error, follow the prompts to resolve.

  1. Click Update to save the row. ‘Your report’ will display with updated data.
  2. Repeat these steps to enter additional rows to your report.

✏ Note: A green tick indicates valid data. A grey tick indicates that the data has not been entered.

Edit data

  1. Click Edit on row to be updated in ‘Your report’. The ‘Add EPI Commitment’ webform will display.

  2. Follow the prompts to edit EPIC data.

  3. Click Update. ‘Your report’ will display with updated data.

  4. Repeat these steps as needed.

  5. Click Next to go to Review your summary page.

Review your summary and submit

  1. Review ‘Your report’ information.

  2. Click Submit.

  3. Click Confirm to process your data submission, or click Cancel to continue in draft.

✏ Note: All rows must be complete. The submit process will error if the data collection is incomplete.

  1. The Event status of the EPIC will change to ‘Submitted’ in the ‘Commitments’ grid.
